This is where my major gripes lie. The first thing is that it was unbelievably light out of the box. This thing is so thin and flimsy that it feels cheap, even though it was made of sterling silver. I had to add some lead solder in it to give it some weight and I am not usually a picky person. Also after about 3 months, the clip that holds the locket shut broke off from normal use, and I had to manually repair this myself.
LOOKS
This thing is pretty however, which is why I chose it above the others. If you can deal with the lightness of it and you are just going for looks, this is a nice looking piece of jewelry.
OVERALL
I do not think that I would purchase another of these. It's quality reflects more that of a 10-15$ purchase, not a 35-40$ one. It's not a bad product, just a little pricey for what it is!
