(More customer reviews)I bought this "14K Yellow Gold" locket for my mom as a gift to give her on my wedding day (which is in a week and a half- not much time to figure something else out). I don't know what kind of metal this thing is made of but it's certainly not gold. It felt chintzy and cheap, I would have been absolutely embarrassed to give it to her (and she's not a materialistic woman), as I'm not 5 and it's not something I saved up all my nickels for. It was priced at $180 down from $500, which is laughable. Honestly, I wouldn't pay $5 for this. It had several different colors, and was something like tarnished inside the design, "14K" is not engraved anywhere on it (because it's NOT GOLD), and it just felt like a joke.
Truly false advertising, and I'm actually quite angry about it.
